Mongolia to Collaborate with China to Boost Exports of Small-to-Medium-Sized Enterprises

Ulaanbaatar, March 13, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Communications of Mongolia Baatarkhuu Tsend received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia Shen Minjuan and other officials on March 12, 2025.
The two sides exchanged views on elevating the cooperation between the two countries in science and information technology.
Minister Baatarkhuu noted that China
is taking the initiative in science and information technology, achieving
greater productivity in artificial intelligence at minimal cost, and becoming the country with the largest number of new patents.
The two sides will intensify the export of goods by Mongolian small and medium-sized enterprises through the "Alibaba" platform, and organize an online meeting in March 2025.
Minister Baatarkhuu also highlighted the
Mongolian Government’s plan to upgrade Zuunmod City in Tuv aimag to a
"Hunnu" City and establish a science and information technology park under the Regional Development Plan.
